In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective ADP relationships with RS' institutional fiduciary administration partners. As the liaison with these firms and as a key partner advocate, the Fiduciary Administration Relationship Manager is responsible for the mutual success of the partnership and the partner's overall satisfaction. The Relationship Manager positions him or herself within the senior levels of the partner's organization.

However, the Relationship Manager may also interact with the partner's middle management and department staff when necessary. Understanding the partner's short and long-term goals relative to their retirement business, and the strategic opportunity they present to ADP RS, the Relationship Manager serves as a facilitator of services across the Retirement Services organization. This position will involve some domestic travel to meet with assigned partners.

The nature of what you do every day will be engaging in a consultative relationship with our 3(16) and TPA partners. The questions you receive will vary, as will the solutions you provide based on each company’s demographic and their unique plan document. What you’ll do: Responsibilities

What you can expect on a typical day:

  • Key ADP contact for assigned partners decision maker and/or the senior executive responsible for the ADP relationship
  • Key liaison with all ADP entities to proactively communicate with and provide marketing and sales support to their assigned partnerships.
  • Focus is on strategic success and total partner satisfaction
  • Effectively communicate and oversee the resolution of resulting critical issues with all ADP entities as well as to communicate areas of satisfaction or perceived improvement.
  • Understand partner's retirement business strategy and needs.
  • Identifies and develops new strategic opportunities within each partnership.
  • Positioned as the Partner Advocate within ADP -- cuts through the red tape to resolve issues.
  • Ensures partners understand ADP's positions and objectives.
  • Represents the partners interests internal relative to product development desires, sales support requests, issue resolution, etc.
  • Conceptualize, develop and participate in partner specific marketing and sales campaigns.
  • Maintains comprehensive and timely records on partner activities.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements

  • 5+ years of Relationship Management and/or directly related experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of retirement plan administration –especially Form 5500 and compliance testing

A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. What's more important is having the skills and experience to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:

  • Experience noted above, OR
  • Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.

Bonus points for these: Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Comprehensive understanding of competitive advantages and disadvantages of Retirement Products.
  • Experience in managing executive level relationships / partnerships with clients and third parties
  • Extensive understanding of Defined Contribution recordkeeping and plan administration
  • Familiarity with mutual funds and basic investment management principles

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. We offer the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Matched Retirement Savings, Wellness Program, Short-and Long-Term Disability, Charitable Contribution Match, Holidays, Personal Days & Vacation, Paid Volunteer Time Off, and more. The compensation for this role is USD $74,100.00 - USD $150,300.00 / Year*

*Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
