Key Responsibilities Database Administration Administer, maintain, and support Oracle databases across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments. Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain Oracle database environments. Manage Oracle Database versions including 11g, 12c, and 19c. Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of database systems. Performance & Optimization Monitor database performance and proactively identify bottlenecks. Perform SQL tuning, query optimization, and database performance tuning. Optimize database objects, indexes, partitions, and execution plans. Conduct capacity planning and performance forecasting. Development Support Design, develop, and support complex SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and views. Review database design and provide guidance on best practices. Support application teams during development and deployment activities. Data Replication & Integration Manage and support Oracle GoldenGate environments. Support database replication, synchronization, and data migration activities. Work with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for data integration and ETL processes. Production Support & Release Management Support production deployments, releases, and maintenance activities. Troubleshoot and resolve production database issues within SLA timelines. Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution. Ensure smooth execution of database changes and upgrades. Security & Compliance Implement database security best practices. Manage user roles, privileges, and access controls. Perform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities. Ensure compliance with organizational security and audit requirements. Collaboration Work closely with application developers, architects, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills Strong expertise in Oracle Database Architecture. Hands-on experience with Oracle 11g, 12c, and Oracle 19c. Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development. Extensive experience in creating and maintaining: oStored Procedures oFunctions oPackages oTriggers oViews Strong experience in Performance Tuning and Query Optimization. Expertise in Oracle GoldenGate. Working knowledge of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). Understanding of database upgrade, migration, backup, and recovery processes. Knowledge of Oracle database monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Process & Methodology Experience supporting Production Releases. Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience working in enterprise-scale production environments. Soft Skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong ownership and accountability mindset. Good team player with a customer-focused approach. Nice to Have Skills Knowledge of Java-based applications and ecosystem. Exposure to Angular applications and frontend architecture. Experience with REST APIs and microservices-based architectures. Cloud platform experience (Azure/AWS). DevOps and CI/CD exposure (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.). Experience with Linux/Unix administration. Knowledge of container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes). ##LI-DNI
