Description

As a member of the National Accounts France, the GXP Payroll Engineer is in charge of the payroll system of the GXP Link customers of France NAS BU (45 large and renowned companies).

Within the Web team GXP Link, the Payroll Engineer has direct interactions with GXP Link Team Leader, France Account Manager, French Payroll Team and customers. He/she is involved in the high quality of service expected by them.

In collaboration with the Project Manager/Account Manager of each customer and the French Payroll Team, the GXP Payroll Engineer is in charge of analysing, configuring/developing and testing the payroll system, while understanding the upstream and downstream impacts to the overall human capital management solution.

He/she also provides assistance to customers as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Setup of the GXP Link payroll system according to the specifications from the Clients
  • Meet customers’ requests for assistance on using the solution or to correct/unlock production situations
  • Undertake corrective maintenance/setup of the GXP Link customized payroll system
  • Participate in the rating the workload and in the planning of change requests
  • Analyse, develop and test payroll system evolutions according to the corresponding legal requirements and the needs expressed by customers, respecting programming/configuration and testing standards, deadlines and quality levels set forth
  • Be responsible for the installation and delivery of upgrades and app enhancements
  • Collaborate with the R&D department for enhancing and updating GXP Link product
  • Draft reports on his/her activities (time allocated for each task, technical issues encountered, etc.)

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Technical skills:

French payroll functional skills

French absence management functional skills is a plus

GXP Payroll or any other MVS4 based Payroll systems is a plus

  • Languages:

French: reading and writing: to understand requests submitted via specification files, CRM tickets / mails and to draft answers or explanations; speaking: to communicate verbally with associates and customers

English: B2

Skill Requirements:

  • Personal effectiveness: analytical spirit and ability to synthesise, good time management, organised, rigorous
  • Autonomy and proactivity: in the event of any issue, there should be a diagnosis, call and proposal.
  • Adaptability: priorities between tasks and projects may change.
  • Involvement and sense of commitment: customers of GXP Link offer are large companies with many employees (+/- 10k to 20k) and cannot accept any change to deadlines nor to quality standards.
  • French advanced level
