WS Developer (Terraform & CloudFormation) Job Description
Position Title
AWS Cloud Developer / AWS Infrastructure Developer
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled AWS Developer with strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, automating, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS while ensuring scalability, security, reliability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and configuration management.
- Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and templates.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
- Deploy and manage AWS services including:
- EC2
- S3
- VPC
- RDS
- Lambda
- API Gateway
- ECS/EKS
- CloudWatch
- IAM
- Route 53
- Monitor cloud environments and optimize performance, cost, and security.
- Implement security best practices including IAM policies, encryption, network security, and compliance controls.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application deployment issues.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Development, Security, and Architecture teams.
- Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Participate in cloud migration and modernization projects.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of AWS cloud development/engineering experience.
- 4++ years of Terraform experience.
- Experience with CloudFormation template development.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, security, and cloud architecture.
Preferred Certifications
- AWS Certified Developer Associate
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate/Professional
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- HashiCorp Terraform Associate
Nice to Have
- Multi-cloud exposure (Azure/GCP).
- Serverless architecture experience.
- Kubernetes administration experience.
- Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 4+ years of AWS cloud development/engineering experience. 3+ years of Terraform experience. Experience with CloudFormation template development. Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of networking concepts, security, and cloud architecture.
