ADP is hiring a Sr. Director, Implementation within our National Accounts organization.

As Sr. Director, Implementation in our National Accounts organization, you will lead a direct organization while influencing across a complex matrix of senior leaders in Service, Product, Strategy, Org Readiness, and Technical Services. In this role, you will help shape the strategic direction of the implementation program and strengthen how we deliver for clients through methodology, client analysis and scheduling, custom solution development, client strategy and segmentation, and product roadmap alignment.
In this role, you will be a Leader of Leaders with ~5 to 8 direct reports and ~60 indirect reports across various locations. You will report directly to the Vice President/General Manager.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Responsibilities
Associate Leadership
- Lead leaders who are responsible for ensuring client business needs are fully assessed and addressed, and custom solutions are appropriately scoped and documented before clients transition into the migration phase.
- Provide leadership across the implementation lifecycle to ensure teams are positioned for strong execution and high-quality client outcomes.
Project and Program Leadership
- Set direction for resource strategy and deployment decisions based on business priorities, team capability, product complexity, and client expectations.
- Drive accountability across leadership teams for on-time, on-budget, high-quality implementation delivery that results in strong client outcomes and advocacy.
- Provide strategic oversight of client scheduling and program intake.
- Coach leaders through complex delivery challenges and serve as a senior escalation resource across ADP business units.
- Drive cross-functional alignment and build productive partnerships across multiple business units to strengthen implementation results.
- Shape implementation process improvements that span multiple business units and advance enterprise delivery practices.
- Guide executive-level client expectations and monitor progress against key deliverables.
- Identify opportunities to expand business based on client needs and partner with clients to resolve issues and achieve shared goals.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for strategic client matters, including significant changes in direction, complex issues, and business-critical decisions.
- Build and sustain long-term client relationships across multiple levels of the client organization.
- Provide leadership oversight for quality survey results, action planning, and continuous improvement efforts.
Financial Leadership
- Own starts forecasting and budget planning.
Sales Relationship Management
- Partner with Sales Executives to strengthen sales-to-implementation process management, win/loss reviews, lessons learned, implementation collateral, and governance of the sales transition process.
Client Service Relationship Management
- Align with Service Managers and Executives to strengthen revenue retention, client scheduling effectiveness, and long-term client relationship health.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements
- No remote opportunity for this role. It will sit in either the Alpharetta, GA, Jacksonville, FL or Parsippany, NJ locations. We support a hybrid working arrangement; 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
- 12+ years of experience leading an enterprise-level professional services or implementation organization that works directly with clients, preferably in the HCM industry.
- Executive presence, strong leadership capability, professionalism, and business planning expertise.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead effectively through changing conditions.
- Strong technical acumen to evaluate platform capabilities, assess complex product issues, and lead resolution efforts.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across business functions
- Ability to prioritize issues and work under the pressure of time constraints
- Ability to anticipate and adapt to changing conditions and opportunities
A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. If you don't have a college degree, other acceptable experiences could include:
- Experience noted above, OR
- Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.
BONUS POINTS FOR THESE: Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Advanced Degree.
- Large-scale enterprise Workforce Management systems implementation and/or global implementation experience.
- Experience leading virtual teams.
- Project management training and applied skills, PMP preferred; quality process training and skills such as Six Sigma, PHR/SPHR, and CPP preferred.
- Understanding of ADP product capabilities and in-depth knowledge of ADP products, services, and programs.
- Experience supporting Implementation and knowledge of backlog management/No Starts
- Operational and financial services background; knowledge of tools and process matters that support Implementation
- Knowledge of HCM (Human Capital Management) preferred, but not required
