About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Visualization Developer / Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-grade reporting and analytics solutions. This role combines deep expertise in data visualization platforms, modern front-end development, and big data processing to deliver actionable insights at scale. Key Responsibilities: Architect and develop end-to-end reporting and visualization solutions using Power BI, including data modeling, DAX optimization, and enterprise deployment strategies Design and build custom interactive dashboards and embedded analytics using React-based front-end applications Develop and optimize data pipelines and transformations in Databricks (PySpark/Spark SQL) to feed downstream reporting layers Define visualization standards, design patterns, and best practices across the organization Lead the evaluation and selection of visualization tools and frameworks based on business requirements Collaborate with data engineering, product, and business teams to translate complex data into intuitive visual narratives Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), incremental refresh, and performance tuning strategies in Power BI Build reusable React component libraries for custom charting (D3.js, Recharts, AG Grid, or similar) Design scalable data architectures that bridge Databricks lakehouse outputs with visualization layers Mentor junior developers and establish code review practices for BI and front-end deliverables Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and accessibility standards Must-Have Skills: 8+ years of experience in data visualization and reporting solutions Expert-level proficiency in Power BI (Desktop, Service, Embedded, Dataflows, Paginated Reports) Advanced DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling techniques (Star/Snowflake schema) Strong hands-on experience with React.js (hooks, state management, component architecture) Working knowledge of Databricks notebooks, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, and job orchestration Experience with REST APIs and integrating visualization layers with backend data services Proficiency in SQL and data transformation logic Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for BI artifacts and front-end deployments Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and lakehouse architecture ##LI-DNIMust-Have Skills: 8+ years of experience in data visualization and reporting solutions Expert-level proficiency in Power BI (Desktop, Service, Embedded, Dataflows, Paginated Reports) Advanced DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling techniques (Star/Snowflake schema) Strong hands-on experience with React.js (hooks, state management, component architecture) Working knowledge of Databricks notebooks, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, and job orchestration Experience with REST APIs and integrating visualization layers with backend data services Proficiency in SQL and data transformation logic Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for BI artifacts and front-end deployments Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and lakehouse architecture Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Looker, QuickSight) Knowledge of D3.js or other JavaScript visualization libraries Azure ecosystem experience (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Azure AD) Exposure to Python for data manipulation and automation Experience with Power BI Embedded and custom connector development Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies Power BI certifications (PL-300, DP-500) Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale reporting solutions Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Experience leading or mentoring a team of developers
