THE POSITION

Based in Barcelona, Spain, this role will report to the VP Pricing Strategy and work closely alongside the Senior Manager, Pricing Strategy, also based in Barcelona, providing analytical, reporting, and operational support for key pricing initiatives. This is a highly hands-on role for a pricing professional who enjoys translating complex and imperfect data into actionable business insights.

The Manager of Pricing Strategy will work closely with the Senior Manager, leveraging large datasets to generate actionable insights and support recurring reporting and performance measurement activities through data preparation, analysis, and reporting that enable data-driven decision making. This role will work cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Product, Marketing, Strategy, and Business Intelligence teams to support the ongoing evolution of ESI pricing strategy.

The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with advanced analytical skills and a passion for transforming complex data into actionable recommendations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Manager of Pricing Strategy will provide analytical, reporting, and project support to the Senior Manager across pricing analytics, performance measurement, and strategic initiatives within ESI, including:

  • Build and maintain pricing datasets by integrating information from multiple data sources.
  • Perform detailed data validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities to ensure analytical accuracy.
  • Investigate inconsistencies in pricing, customer, product, contract, and sales data and develop solutions to improve data integrity.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of analytical models to evaluate pricing performance, discounting practices, promotions, customer behavior, and market opportunities.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify pricing trends, opportunities, and business risks.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of dashboards, recurring reporting and performance metrics, used by leadership to monitor business performance.
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc analyses, reports, and insights for senior leadership presentations and business reviews.
  • Improve pricing data quality, reporting processes, and analytical methodologies to increase decision-making effectiveness.
  • Support the design, execution, and evaluation of pricing and packaging experiments.
  • Contribute to market and pricing research initiatives, including willingness-to-pay studies, pricing and packaging tests, customer value assessments, and pricing experiments, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Support the development and execution of pricing strategies designed to maximize revenue growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to help ensure alignment between pricing strategy and go-to-market objectives.
  • Assist in maintaining pricing governance, pricing tools, and pricebook management processes.
  • Help identify opportunities to simplify pricing structures and develop recommendations that improve customer understanding and sales execution.
  • Track competitive pricing activity and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in pricing, analytics, strategy, finance, revenue management, business intelligence, consulting, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities with demonstrated experience working with large datasets.
  • Experience developing financial models, pricing analyses, forecasting models, dashboards, and executive-level reporting.
  • Experience designing and analyzing pricing research methodologies, including willingness-to-pay frameworks, conjoint analysis, price sensitivity measurement, pricing experiments, and market testing to support data-driven pricing decisions
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and communicate effectively to stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering across multiple business functions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently while collaborating within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of the payroll, HCM, SaaS, or technology industry is an advantage.
  • Located within commutable distance to the Barcelona office, with full right to work in country
  • Fluency in English required
