In this role, you will own and drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of marketplace for one of ADP’s HCM offerings. You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to identify opportunities, validate solutions, and deliver products that create value for our clients and business.
No two days are the same. You may spend one day analyzing customer insights and market trends, another prioritizing features with engineering teams, and the next aligning stakeholders on product direction. From product discovery through launch and optimization, you'll play a key role in creating solutions that improve customer outcomes and support business growth.
To thrive in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in product management, customer-centric thinking, and data-driven decision-making. You'll bring experience defining product strategies, managing roadmaps, and influencing cross-functional teams. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and execute product strategy aligned with business goals and customer needs.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery activities.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and business growth.
- Build and maintain a product roadmap based on customer value and business priorities.
Product Development & Execution
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements; create specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with Engineering and Design throughout the development lifecycle
- Leverage available tools to drive AI adoption into the product development lifecycle
Customer & Market Focus
- Engage with customers to understand their pain points and requirements.
- Analyze customer feedback, usage metrics, and industry trends.
- Translate customer insights into impactful product features and enhancements.
- Ensure product decisions are data-driven and aligned with market needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, and go-to-market teams
- Communicate product vision, priorities, and progress to stakeholders
- Influence and drive alignment across teams
Product Performance Management
- Define and track key product metrics (adoption, engagement, satisfaction, business outcomes)
- Conduct post-launch analysis and recommend improvements
- Drive continuous optimization based on performance insights
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- You'll have a bachelor's degree OR equivalent.
- 7-10 years of experience in Product Management or related roles with a proven track record of delivering successful products.
- Experience and understanding of marketplace platforms, APIs and integrations.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, and roadmap planning.
- Experience translating customer needs and business goals into scalable product solutions.
- Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: Experience in SaaS, cloud-based platforms, enterprise software, FinTech, or HCM technology solutions.
- Preferred: Certifications such as CSPO, SAFe Product Manager/Product Owner, or Pragmatic Product Management.
