Senior Integration Consultant (PS) Position Summary The Senior Integration Consultant serves as a trusted technical advisor responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions between ADP platforms and client business applications. This role combines technical consulting, solution architecture, integration development, and client engagement responsibilities. Working directly with clients, project teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders, the Senior Integration Consultant leads the successful delivery of integration initiatives that support Payroll, Human Capital Management (HCM), Workforce Management, Benefits Administration, and other mission-critical business processes. The successful candidate demonstrates strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, API-based integrations, cloud platforms, and enterprise application integration patterns. The role requires both technical depth and strong customer-facing consulting capabilities. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Integration Consulting & Client Engagement Lead technical discovery and requirements gathering workshops with clients and stakeholders. Consult with clients on integration strategies, implementation approaches, and best technical practices. Translate business requirements into scalable technical integration solutions. Provide effort estimates, implementation assessments, and technical recommendations. Build trusted advisor relationships with client technical and business teams. Solution Design & Architecture Design scalable, secure, and reusable architectures. Produce high-level and detailed solution design documentation. Define integration patterns, data mappings, API contracts, and security frameworks. Conduct architecture reviews and ensure adherence to established standards. Recommend improvements to integration frameworks and methodologies. Integration Development & Delivery Develop and support integrations using C#, .NET, and modern API technologies. Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs and web services. Develop automation, orchestration, and data transformation solutions. Participate in code reviews and solution quality assessments. Support testing, deployment planning, cutover activities, and production stabilization. Technical Leadership Act as an Integration Subject Matter Expert (SME). Mentor junior consultants and developers. Contribute to reusable assets, standards, and best practices. Lead technical problem-solving sessions and root-cause analysis. Participate in proof-of-concept initiatives and technology evaluations. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in: Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering/Engineering or related discipline Required Experience 7-10 years of total IT experience. Minimum 6 years of enterprise integration experience. Minimum 6 years of hands-on C# and .NET development experience. Experience designing and implementing API-first integration solutions. Technical Competencies Software Development Strong proficiency in: C#/.NET Framework/.NET Core / .NET 8+/ASP.NET Web API/Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Good understanding of: Enterprise Integration Patterns/Event-Driven Architecture/API-Led Connectivity Database & Data Technologies Experience with: Microsoft SQL Server/Stored Procedures/Query Optimization Preferred Experience Experience integrating with one or more of the following: HR, Payroll & HCM Platforms ADP Workforce Now/ADP GlobalView Enterprise Applications SAP ERP/Oracle ERP/Salesforce Experience working within Payroll, HRIS, HCM, Benefits Administration, or Workforce Management environments is highly desirable.
