ADP is seeking a Senior Manager, Pricing Strategy to support our Global Enterprise Solutions (GES) business. Based in Roseland, NJ or New York City, this role will serve as a key partner in driving strategic pricing initiatives across ADP's enterprise business.
This is a highly hands-on role for a pricing professional who enjoys translating complex and imperfect data into actionable business insights. The Senior Manager will work closely with the Senior Director to support pricing strategy development, business performance analysis, and execution of key pricing initiatives. Success in this role requires equal comfort partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and diving deeply into data validation, reconciliation, and analysis.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong analytical execution. They are naturally curious, enjoy solving complex data challenges, and are motivated by uncovering insights that drive business outcomes. This role requires a highly hands-on approach to analytics, including significant work with imperfect and complex datasets, and is best suited for individuals who enjoy uncovering insights through detailed data investigation and problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Analytical Foundations
- Build and maintain pricing datasets by integrating information from multiple systems, reports, and data sources.
- Assemble and reconcile datasets from multiple sources where data structures, definitions, and hierarchies may not fully align.
- Perform detailed data validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities to ensure analytical accuracy.
- Investigate inconsistencies in pricing, customer, product, contract, and sales data and develop solutions to improve data integrity.
- Create repeatable analytical frameworks and processes that improve the efficiency and reliability of pricing analysis.
Strategic Pricing Support
- Partner closely with the Senior Director, Pricing Strategy to support the development, execution, and governance of pricing initiatives across GES.
- Assist in evaluating pricing opportunities that drive revenue growth, profitability, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Support pricing recommendations through financial analysis, business case development, and market-based insights.
- Contribute to pricing and packaging strategies for existing and emerging solutions.
Business Performance & Analytics
- Analyze pricing performance, discount trends, sales productivity, win rates, attach rates, and promotional effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain executive-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Translate complex data into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
- Monitor key pricing and commercial metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct market research and competitive analyses to identify pricing opportunities and industry trends.
- Support willingness-to-pay studies, customer research efforts, and pricing experiments.
- Track competitive pricing activity and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify best practices and emerging pricing methodologies relevant to enterprise technology and HCM markets.
Operational Excellence
- Support the development and maintenance of pricing data assets, tools, and policies.
- Identify and resolve root-cause data issues that impact pricing decisions and reporting.
- Partner with Sales Operations, Finance, and product teams to improve pricing data quality and accessibility.
- Identify opportunities to simplify pricing structures and improve operational effectiveness.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 5-8-years of experience in pricing, strategy, finance, business analytics, consulting, revenue management, or commercial operations.
- Strong analytical capabilities with demonstrated experience sourcing, validating, reconciling, and analyzing large and complex datasets from multiple sources.
- Proven ability to work independently through ambiguous data challenges and develop structured approaches to solving data quality and analytical problems.
- Advanced Excel skills including complex modeling, data manipulation, and reconciliation.
- Experience developing executive presentations and communicating insights to senior leadership.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, and business intelligence tools.
Preferred
- Experience supporting enterprise sales organizations or large-scale commercial businesses.
- Background in HCM, SaaS, enterprise technology, business services, or subscription-based business models.
- Exposure to pricing strategy, packaging, deal economics, discount management, or commercial optimization.
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, or similar analytical tools
Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is USD $99,600.00 - USD $185,800.00 / Year*
*Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
