JOB PURPOSE & KEY OBJECTIVES:

Activities that combine analytical and design skills with adequate knowledge of software and hardware technology, to define, design, test, modify and implement computer systems containing software as the main component.

ADP Lyric HCM is a next-generation, AI-enabled human capital management platform designed to deliver a unified, global HR experience across the entire employee lifecycle. The Senior Talent Implementation Consultant serves as the functional lead for Talent implementations, bringing deep expertise in Compensation Planning, Performance Management, Goals, Career Development, Succession Planning, and Talent Review processes. The role is responsible for translating complex business requirements into scalable solution designs, leading client workshops, driving implementation excellence, mentoring consultants, and supporting successful client outcomes throughout the project lifecycle

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analysis & Consultation:

  • Lead Talent discovery workshops with client stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Serve as the primary Talent Subject Matter Expert for clients and project teams.
  • Design end-to-end Talent solutions aligned to business requirements, industry best practices, and ADP implementation standards.
  • Provide strategic consulting on Talent transformation, process optimization, and global standardization opportunities.
  • Lead blueprinting activities and ensure solution integrity across Talent, Core HR, Payroll, and Integrations.
  • Evaluate complex client requirements and recommend scalable solutions while minimizing implementation risk.
  • Own resolution of solution gaps and escalations related to Talent functionality.
  • Review and approve solution designs, documentation, and configuration decisions prepared by consultants.

Integration & Testing:

  • Lead Talent data mapping, conversion, validation, and reconciliation activities.
  • Review and approve test strategies, test scripts, and testing outcomes.
  • Guide clients through System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Go-Live readiness activities.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of all implementation deliverables including Blueprints, Functional Specifications, Configuration Workbooks, and Audit Documents.
  • Support complex issue resolution during testing and deployment phases.
  • Ensure successful transition to Client Services following ADP handover methodology.

Product Knowledge:

  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of Lyric Talent functionality and future product roadmap.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on Talent Management best practices and solution capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Global Solution Design teams on product enhancements and client feedback.
  • Support development of implementation standards, accelerators, templates, and reusable best practices.
  • Participate in internal enablement activities and contribute to capability development across the implementation organization.

Project Planning / Management Activities:

  • Lead Talent workstreams for medium to large-scale global implementations.
  • Partner with Project Managers to manage scope, risks, dependencies, timelines, resource requirements, and delivery quality.
  • Provide proactive communication of project status, risks, mitigation plans, and recommendations.
  • Support commercial discussions regarding scope expansion and change requests.
  • Ensure utilization, project profitability, and achievement of professional services delivery targets.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and implementation methodology enhancements.
  • Mentor and coach Implementation Consultants and support onboarding of new team members.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex Talent implementation challenges.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • HR Technology, HCM, Project Management, or Talent Management certifications are considered an advantage.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of HCM implementation, consulting, or HR technology experience.
  • Experience leading global or multi-country HCM implementations.
  • Experience facilitating executive stakeholder workshops and managing complex client relationships.
  • Strong background in system configuration, business process consulting, and solution design.

Languages:

  • English C1 and (optional, but great to have): German, French, Italian, Spanish B2

  • Consulting skills, understanding business requirements and mapping to ensure consistency to ADP template, while minimizing risk to both client and ADP.
  • Methodologies - demonstrate knowledge and application of key methodologies employed by Implementation team and Project implementation methodology.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and time management skills, ability to work across various projects, ability to lead a team of consultants to effectively implement a solution.
  • Ability to use tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project Place, Agile Place, and Visio to effectively update and maintain documentation / training / demonstrations.
  • Client focused, demonstrate concern for meeting and exceeding immediate and future needs of clients.
  • Good business process knowledge of correspondent module being implemented.
