THINGS YOU’LL DO

Drive Our Business Forward

  • Own a protected geographic territory, developing new business, closing sales, and consistently achieving or exceeding sales objectives.
  • Develop and execute an annual territory business plan, including sales, pipeline, prospecting, and activity goals.
  • Identify and cultivate a targeted portfolio of prospective clients to maximize territory penetration and growth.

Build Executive-Level Relationships

  • Develop relationships with Presidents, CEOs, CFOs, Owners, and other key decision-makers using a strategic, top-down sales approach.
  • Engage prospects and existing clients with relevant commercial insights that create urgency and drive action.
  • Build trusted relationships by understanding each client’s business priorities, challenges, and long-term objectives.

Deliver Comprehensive HRO Solutions

  • Position the value of ADP Comprehensive Services and related solutions based on each client’s business objectives.
  • Partner with Solution Consultants to uncover and analyze client business processes, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Develop compelling business cases demonstrating the value and potential impact of investing with ADP.
  • Create comprehensive solution proposals and deliver persuasive presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to successfully close business.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships through additional ADP products and solutions.

Collaborate & Lead

  • Partner closely with Sales, Leadership, Solution Consultants, Implementation, Service, and other internal teams to execute effective client strategies.
  • Serve as an ADP ambassador in the field and actively participate in sales initiatives, field days, and blitz activities.
  • Provide HRO expertise, support, and training to field sales teams to strengthen opportunities.
  • Participate in regular business and strategy meetings with Sales Leadership and the HRO sales organization.
  • Partner with Implementation and Service teams to support a seamless transition and positive client experience following the sale.

Manage Your Business

  • Maintain current industry, competitive, and product knowledge.
  • Keep client, pipeline, and activity information accurate and up to date within Salesforce (SFDC) and other required sales tools.
  • Provide clear, concise documentation of relevant client information and sales activity.
  • Perform other responsibilities as required.

WHAT YOU BRING

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of strategic B2B sales experience, including experience selling to C-level and executive decision-makers.
  • 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
  • Experience developing territory and activity plans that drive measurable sales results.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales opportunities and position value effectively in competitive situations.
  • Strong consultative selling, presentation, negotiation, and territory-management skills.
  • Ability to develop practical, creative solutions to complex client business challenges.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with sales colleagues and cross-functional partners.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a personal vehicle for this field-based role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HCM, payroll, HR technology, or outsourcing sales experience.
  • Experience selling complex solutions to executive-level decision-makers.
  • Knowledge of the HCM industry and competitive landscape.
  • Canadian Payroll Association/PCP certification, CHRL designation, or another relevant professional certification.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. We offer the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Matched Retirement Savings, Wellness Program, Short-and Long-Term Disability, Charitable Contribution Match, Holidays, Personal Days & Vacation, Paid Volunteer Time Off, and more. The compensation for this role is CAD $97,500.00 - CAD $147,500.00 / Year*

*Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.

In Ontario and/or British Columbia (where applicable), the range shown represents the expected total compensation, including vacation pay and commission at target. Commissions are based on several factors, including but not limited to individual targets and achievements, as well as company guidelines and plans.
