Position: Software Engineer Intern Location: ADP Private Limited, One West Hyderabad Duration: 3 Months (June to August 2026) Type: Full-time Internship (On-site) Stipend: Competitive (will be discussed during HR Discussion) Role Overview As a Software Engineer Intern at ADP, you will work alongside experienced engineers on real-world enterprise-grade products. You will contribute to building, testing, and optimizing software solutions with a strong focus on leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI technologies to accelerate development and innovation. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain software features across ADP's product suite Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Developer, QA, and DevOps Collaborate & learn with ADPs talented workforce, dedicated mentor and buddy Leverage GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q tools) to accelerate code generation, documentation, debugging, automation, debugging, debugging, and deploying Participate and Learn Learn from experts with internship focused seminars and fireside chat with industry leaders Build or contribute to Agentic AI workflows based on work assignments including LLM-based agents, tool-calling pipelines, and autonomous task runners Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code following best practices Participate in Agile ceremonies standups, sprint planning, retrospectives Explore AI-assisted testing, code review, and deployment automation Prepare technical documentation and present work to stakeholders GenAI Expectations Interns are encouraged and expected to actively use the following during their tenure: Generative AI (GenAI) Tool/Skill Usage GitHub Copilot / Cursor AI-assisted code completion and generation Model (Claude etc.) Debugging, documentation, unit test generation Prompt Engineering Writing eAective prompts for code and data tasks Integrating AI capabilities into applications Eligibility Criteria 70% and above across academic career (10th, Intermediate, and Degree with no active backlogs) Students in their 3rd or 4th Year of Bachelors Degree Engineering o Eligible: CSE / IT / AIML / DS Strong Problem-Solving Skills Good English communication skills (with minimum/no MTI) Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java, .NET Proficiency in at least one database: MySQL, Oracle, any other RDBMS, MongoDB Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Angular, Node.js, R, React etc. Familiarity with AI/ML, LLMs, or GenAI tools Selection Process Step 1 Screening: Assessment Test Duration: ~6070 minutes Covers: Quantitative Aptitude | Analytical Reasoning | Computer Concepts Step 2 Pre-Placement Talk 30-minute session by a Senior Manager from ADP Conducted on-site at the college premises prior to interviews Step 3 Interviews Interview: o o o o Tech Round 1: Technical Lead Interview (In-person) Tech Round 2: Technical Manager Interview (In-person) Round 3: Senior Manager Interview (In-person) Round 4: HR Discussion (In-person) What You'll Gain Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale software systems Exposure to GenAI in a real working environment Mentorship from industry experts Potential for Pre-Placement OAer (PPO) based on performance Certificate of Internship from a Fortune 500 company ##LI-DNI
