ADP is hiring a Global Solution Designer

As a Global Solution Designer, you will serve as the strategic design authority for our clients' global Human Capital Management (HCM) transformation journey. You will lead the end-to-end solution architecture across HR, Talent, Payroll, and Time, ensuring a seamless balance between global consistency and local compliance. As the primary client-facing authority on solution design, you will build trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders and guide organizations toward scalable, standardized solutions that align with ADP best practices, product strategy, and their unique business objectives.

You will spend your day collaborating with clients, implementation teams, and domain experts to design and govern global HCM solutions that drive long-term success. Every day, you will analyse business requirements across multiple countries, lead design workshops, resolve complex cross-functional design challenges, and ensure global and local needs come together within a cohesive solution framework. Working across diverse industries and geographies, no two projects will be the same. Your ability to drive standardization, champion the 80/20 design approach, and deliver innovative yet practical solutions will help clients maximize value from their investment while supporting scalable global operations.

To thrive in this role, you must be comfortable leading complex conversations, influencing decision-making, and balancing strategic vision with practical execution. You are a natural collaborator who can align stakeholders across multiple domains while maintaining design integrity throughout the program lifecycle. Your communication style inspires confidence, builds trust, and enables clients to make informed decisions with clarity. You excel in dynamic environments, embrace change, and enjoy solving complex business challenges. If you are passionate about global solution design, enterprise transformation, and helping organizations achieve operational excellence, you'll find both a rewarding career and a collaborative team that values innovation, inclusion, and continuous growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities

What you can expect on a typical day:

  • Lead Global Solution Design. You'll own the end-to-end Global Solution Design across HR, Talent, Payroll, and Time, ensuring a cohesive, scalable solution that aligns with client objectives, ADP best practices, and product strategy. You'll balance global standardization with local compliance needs, driving an 80/20 approach that maximizes efficiency while supporting country-specific requirements.
  • Establish Design Governance. You will define and enforce global design principles, standards, and decision frameworks across regions and domains. You'll chair design governance forums, guide stakeholders through complex decisions, and provide clear recommendations that balance business value, risk, and long-term sustainability.
  • Partner with Clients and Stakeholders. You will serve as the primary point of engagement for global HR and IT solution design discussions. Through workshops, consultations, and strategic conversations, you'll help clients translate business challenges into practical, future-ready HCM solutions that support their global operating model.
  • Drive Cross-Domain Alignment. You will collaborate closely with HR, Payroll, Time, Talent, IT, Finance, Legal, and implementation teams to ensure all aspects of the solution work together seamlessly. You'll resolve design conflicts, prevent fragmented approaches, and create alignment across multiple workstreams and geographies.
  • Support Sales and Solutioning Efforts. You'll partner with Sales and Solution Consulting teams on complex global opportunities, helping shape solution strategies, support RFI/RFP responses, articulate business value, and demonstrate implementation readiness for prospective clients.
  • Govern Design Quality and Compliance. You will oversee domain-level design activities to ensure all build, test, and implementation efforts remain aligned to the approved Global Solution Design. You'll review escalated design exceptions, provide authoritative guidance, and validate adherence to global design standards throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Guide Program Delivery. You will translate design decisions into clear documentation, governance artifacts, decision logs, and implementation guidance. You'll provide high-quality design handoffs to delivery teams and offer strategic insights and risk assessments to program leadership.
  • Communicate and Influence. You will facilitate design workshops, present recommendations to executive stakeholders, and explain the rationale behind design decisions in a way that drives adoption, builds confidence, and supports global consistency.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement. You will leverage feedback from clients, implementation teams, and project outcomes to enhance future solution designs. You'll stay current on product capabilities, roadmaps, tools, and industry trends to ensure clients benefit from leading practices and innovative solutions.
  • Focus on Long-Term Value. You will ensure every design supports sustainable operations beyond go-live, enables future growth, and contributes to the client's longer-term HR technology strategy and transformation goals.

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills. Ability to lead workshops, document decisions, and translate complex business and technical requirements into clear recommendations and actionable outcomes.
  • Global operating model expertise. Experience working within multi-country, regulated HR, Payroll, and Time environments, with knowledge of target operating models, shared services, and HR service delivery practices.
  • Data governance and analytics knowledge. Experience defining global data governance, reporting, analytics, and workforce insights strategies that support business objectives and decision-making.
  • Professional credentials. Relevant certifications such as PMI-PMP, Lean Six Sigma, payroll certifications, or equivalent industry-recognized qualifications are preferred.
  • Travel flexibility. Ability to travel as needed to support client engagements, strategic initiatives, and program delivery.

YOU'LL COLLABORATE WITH:
