District Sales Manager – Mid Market (Sales to Base Business)

JOB PURPOSE:
With full scope to sell across ADP's Payroll and HR solutions, this role also provides the infrastructure, presence and brand for sales professionals to have true, global conversations with organisations. You will work with your sales leadership team to define your individual account base strategy, focusing on existing Mid Market clients based in Germany.
This will involve being able to collaborate and orchestrate a leading team of expertise and resource to identify and address client needs in an evolving landscape of people management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing mid-market clients to drive retention and revenue growth
- Create, develop and maintain effective business relationships with external clients and internal stakeholders.
- Managing the sales cycle with senior decision makers, usually in Finance, HR/Payroll or IT service areas.
- Identify and execute cross-selling and upselling opportunities within your market segment as a trusted advisor for Outsourcing solutions (Saas) for Human Resources and Payroll
- Independent direct sales of local and global offers of our portfolio of products and services for our mid-market clients, including pricing and follow-up until the conclusion of the contract
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Consulting, Product, and Delivery teams to ensure client value realization.
- Planning and implementing upselling campaigns to strengthen relationships with existing clients
- Processing of enquiries from interested parties
- Organization and implementation of presentations to interested parties and clients
- Maintain accurate forecasting and opportunity management through using the Sales reporting system SalesForce
- Participation in trade fairs and other events
What we’re looking for:
- Several years of experience in multi-layered sales of products or services that require explanation – ideally in the field of human resources management
- Proven track record of identifying, driving upsell, cross-sell opportunities and closing
- High level of initiative, results orientation, and excellent communication skills in fast-paced sales environments
- High motivation to perform
- Negotiation skills, also at management level
- Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Experience in advising clients on business challenges and translating their needs into value-driven solutions.
- Resilience, flexibility
- Independent, goal-oriented way of working
- Team orientation
- Commercial training or studies
- Good IT skills, especially MS Office products
- Experience with BPO projects
- Driving licence
