ADP Lyric HCM is hiring a Sr. Director of Business Operations within the National Accounts Services organization.

In this role as the Sr. Director of Business Operations, you will drive valuable business development by using your strong leadership and critical thinking skills by combining strategic thinking, AI innovation, data-driven decision making, and executive storytelling, you will help shape the future of the business. You will identify opportunities to accelerate growth and productivity through AI and transformation initiatives, translate complex challenges into actionable strategies, and provide leaders with the insights and recommendations needed to drive enterprise-wide impact.

To thrive in this role as the Sr. Director, you will partner closely with senior leaders to shape transformation strategies, identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies, assess risks, and drive alignment across key stakeholders. You will bring a forward-thinking, data-informed perspective to complex business challenges, helping leaders reimagine processes, accelerate innovation, and unlock new sources of value. By synthesizing insights from across ADP, you will translate strategic priorities into actionable transformation initiatives, drive adoption and change, and ensure investments deliver measurable business outcomes. You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding leaders through ambiguity and helping turn bold ideas into scalable, enterprise-wide impact.
This role functions as a liaison between and among various departments and business units to effectively ensure that our associates, leaders, and clients have the right support and strategic focus.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Responsibilities
- This is an individual contributor position.
- Use strong leadership and critical thinking skills to assist with the operations of ADP Lyric HCM
- Lead and implement various strategic planning and business analytics processes across the ADP Lyric HCM ecosystem.
- Collaborate with SLT members to determine and prioritize business strategies and key initiatives
- Help define business development goals, success measures, and tools used to track growth and impact
- Provide recommendations and consultation to improve alignment, visibility, and execution
- Assist with budget and financial responsibilities related to projects and strategic initiatives
- Help drive partnerships that support business growth and enterprise alignment
- Determine key performance indicators and create practical ways to measure team and initiative performance
- Identify and help solve core business process problems and opportunities through analysis and insight
- Provide the VP and senior leaders with operational insight, trend analysis, and data-backed recommendations
- Leaning in with recommendations and consultation to improve alignment
- Assist with budget and financial responsibilities related to projects.
- Help drive partnerships as they relate to growth.
- Assist with the determination of key performance indicators and how to measure team performance.
- Provide tactical support to implement ideas.
- Work with leadership to deliver, monitor, and communicate progress toward goals.
- Identify and help solve core problems or opportunities within business processes.
- Provide VP and other senior leaders with insight and analysis on operations.
- Assist with assessing the risk when business decisions are made.
- Provide support and oversight and/or leadership for special projects and business initiatives from ideation to implementation.
- Lead enterprise transformation and AI initiatives that drive business growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Partner with senior leaders to define strategy, prioritize investments, and accelerate organizational change.
- Identify and scale AI, automation, and digital capabilities that improve business performance and customer outcomes.
- Drive cross-functional alignment, adoption, and value realization for transformational programs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on innovation, emerging technologies, and business transformation.
- Translate strategic opportunities into actionable roadmaps and measurable business results.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and AI-enabled ways of working.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements
- This is not a remote position. We support a hybrid working arrangement - 3 days minimum in the local office and 2 days at home. This position will sit in our Alpharetta, GA or Parsippany, NJ office.
- 12+ years' experience in a related management capacity in a high-performance service and operational environment that has consistently demonstrated World Class Service comparable to ADP's mission with significant measurable results.
- Executive presence required
- You must be able to work under pressure of time constraints and be able to function in a flexible, constantly changing environment.
- Effective time management and conflict resolution skills are required.
- Ability to motivate and lead others informally; highly collaborative planning ability; superior business acumen, communication, and business judgment.
- Extensive experience in operations or process improvement, with in-depth knowledge of delivering a high-quality client experience.
- Proven history of translating progress and status into visually appealing presentations and communications for a range of audiences (including members of our Executive Committee)
- Ability to travel up to 25% of time, depending on business needs.
A college degree is great but not required. What is more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:
- Experience noted above, OR
- Military experience (NCO+) where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success. - MBA and/or advanced degree.
- Programming background a plus.
- HCM industry experience a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work across organizations with limited supervision.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to produce high quality and volume at a fast pace.
- Knowledge of the business services / enterprise software / human capital management industry
- Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. We offer the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Matched Retirement Savings, Wellness Program, Short-and Long-Term Disability, Charitable Contribution Match, Holidays, Personal Days & Vacation, Paid Volunteer Time Off, and more. The compensation for this role is USD $141,900.00 - USD $349,500.00 / Year*
*Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
