POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide Plan Administration services on all ADP TS Client 401(k) MEP and Prototype Plans. Provide basic 'payroll only' functions on ADP TS Client-Owned 401(k) and other Deferred Compensation Plans. Provide assistance and support to Clients, New Business, HR, Payroll, while acquiring technical and compliance knowledge. Ensure timely input of transactions to ensure customer satisfaction and Client retention. Provides assistance to the 401(k) Specialist when needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains the Regional 401(k) Master Retirement Plan worksheet, reflecting all Retirement Plans processed within the Region. Communicates this on a monthly basis to the Region.
  • Assists Regional Controller and 401(k) Supervisor to audit all Plans upon the completion of the Year-End process to ensure continuity Plan administration.
  • Compiles ADP 401(k) Prototype forms for submission, updates payroll systems for Prototype changes or additions.
  • Updates compliance coding on a quarterly basis. (MEP and Prototype)
  • Processes Client requested changes on both Payplus and Hrizon. Works with the 401(k) Specialist to ensure compliance; communicate changes 401(k) Division and Retirement Services.
  • Processes changes in automated demographic - contribution files. Audits electronic transmission process - accuracy of files.
  • Processes eligibility - participation coding for eligible, key, HC, waived - ineligible employees as needed. Utilizes MEP Eligibility Utility.
  • Compiles paperwork, updates payroll systems - notifies Retirement Services to ensure proper reporting on the 5500. (Prototype)
  • Maintains records on all client calls in Clarify.
  • Provides assistance to clients in the completion of record keeping forms, voice response systems, and website input access to produce changes on the participants' accounts.
  • Assists with the publication - distribution of updates for 401(k) product (i.e., newsletter, COLA adjustments to the index figures, updates to the Plan - the Summary Plan Description.
  • Attend training or classes to stay updated on current laws, trends, or processes. Maintain a 40 hours training agenda per fiscal year.
  • Performs other related projects, assignments, - duties as assigned.
  • Tracking and reporting of terminated clients to Div. 401(k).
  • Payroll audit of new clients first payroll setup.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Education: 2 Year degree in Business Administration.
Experience:

    • 1+ Year experience with General Business Administration or equivalent.
    • Client service skills mandatory.
    • 1-2 Years of experience with qualified plans.

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Payroll experience and HR database (PeopleSoft, CSS Horizon) experience highly preferred.
  • PC literacy required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and enlist cooperation from others.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities within service standards.
  • Basic knowledge of ERISA required.
  • Payroll experience and HR database.
