ADP is searching for Senior Web Services & Security Architect to join its team. We are looking for highly technical, smart and flexible thinkers for whom problem solving is second nature. This role is primarily focused on the delivery of innovative web infrastructure solutions/ tools from concept to operations - particularly public and private cloud-based solutions, software defined infrastructure, and automation.
Typical Duties -
- Support adoption of new Web Services Security technologies and tools, recommend capability improvements, and assist in lab/QA deployments for technology trials.
- Participate in all facets of requirements gathering, prioritization, design, development, testing and execution (Proof of Concept) of Web Services engineering and security requests
- Work closely with senior IT and business leaders to align IT activities with business strategy & objectives
- Build strong cross-organizational relationships; effectively work with staff across the IT organization and the broader enterprise to align the network security technologies with overall organization needs
- Liaise with vendors and service providers to identify and select the products or services that best support the organization's global network strategies
- Provide Infrastructure performance and capacity guidance by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
- Identify emerging network & web security solutions and in coordination with Global Security, evaluate products
- Regularly communicate the status of web services and network security initiatives to IT leadership and internal business partners
- Be a mentor to other team members and lead through example by influencing the use of standards defined by the team and technical leadership
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science. Masters preferred.
- Experience with Web Infrastructure Architecture, Application Security/Networking, or an applicable SRE/Cloud Engineering
- Strong understanding of HTTPs protocols, DNS, SSL/TLS certificate management (integrating with internal processes)
- Strong Understanding of PKI, Digital Certificates including but not limited to OpenSSL and Keytool commands for certificate creation, format conversion, export and import of certificates to the key stores, encoding and decoding of files, message level encryption as well Mutual TLS Authentication
- Hands-On experience in Administration and management of F5 LTM & GTM Load balancers, and/or HA Proxy, NGINX, or Citrix load balancers
- Strong Troubleshooting capabilities and log review experience using Splunk.
- Linux (SLES and RHEL)
- Experience with API Gateways (Layer7, APISIX etc..,) a plus
- Experience with Cloud Web Application Firewalls & BOT Protection– Akamai, AWS WAF, Imperva, Cloudflare, F5 Shape a plus
- Experience with Firewalls – Fortinet, Palo Alto a plus
- Scripting/Automation experience a plus– Bash, Shell, Python, Ansible, Terraform etc..,
- English Fluency
