ADP is hiring a VP, North America Compliance
The VP, North America Compliance is a member of the Global Compliance Team and is responsible for the assessment and monitoring of ADP’s compliance programs within North America in cooperation with the Business Units, the relevant Legal and Compliance teams to ensure each of the Business Units in North America has implemented compliance in their operations.
The VP, North America Compliance is also responsible for the oversight of U.S. money movement compliance, and for the design, operationalization and maintenance of comprehensive compliance programs for international money movement, in collaboration with Legal, Global Treasury and Payments, the Financial Crimes Compliance team, and other members of the Global Compliance team.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITES:
- Coordinate with BU Legal Teams, GPT, GSO and BU stakeholders to monitor, assess and remediate key product and operational compliance risks related to International Money Movement, and drive operationalization of compliance throughout all MM product offerings managed by the IMM team.
- Coordinate with US Legal Team, and other members of the Global Compliance team, the responsibility for oversight of US Money Movement services.
- Working with Legal, regularly assess and identify compliance requirements and monitor emerging regulatory and legislative compliance requirements to anticipate future compliance risks within North America.
- With support from the ADP Core Compliance team, design and maintain appropriate approach to compliance risk assessments and conduct periodic risk assessments within North America.
- With support from the ADP Core Compliance team and the North America BUs leadership team, provide direction and suggestions to enhance or modify compliance controls.
- Supports ADP Head of Global Compliance and the other members of the ADP Global Compliance team with any questions related to North America.
- If needed, provide assistance to the Global Contract Team and other BU lawyers with client contract language issues and contract negotiations as they relate to Privacy.
- Define and track relevant key risk indicators, success / remediation metrics, and other measures to assess risks, progress on risk mitigation and effectiveness of substantive compliance controls.
- Working with the Privacy team, and other teams within Global Compliance, ensure compliance with requirements in specific areas related to the region and mitigation of risk of violations or claims.
- Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and industry developments.
- Promote ADP’s culture of compliance, utilizing appropriate tools and resources to communicate and reinforce key compliance messages across North America.
REQUIREMENTS:
- JD or non-US equivalent preferred
- 10+ years of experience as in-house counsel or compliance professional with a very good understanding of payment services activities laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and leadership skills at a professional level.
- Ability to prioritize assignments and work under pressure.
- Ability to effectively communicate guidance on complex issues.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership in execution.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent business judgment, ability to make decisions, and pragmatic approach to problem solving in order to effectuate change.
- Must possess a solid academic and impeccable ethics record.
- Ability to establish relationships and communicate with all levels of ADP associates, and external third parties, including ADP clients and to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across the enterprise.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is USD $216,300.00 - USD $362,000.00 / Year*
*Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
