ADP Marketplace is hiring a Senior Relationship Manager – Partner Governance.

The ADP Marketplace is an ecosystem of software product applications offered by partners, which ADP clients can purchase and integrate with ADP payroll and HR data. The Marketplace launched in 2014 and includes 800+ applications from ~300 partner companies and is available in the US, Canada and ESI. The ADP Marketplace is the largest e-commerce HR marketplace in the industry, offering an extensive choice for our clients.

The ADP Marketplace Senior Relationship Manager – Partner Governance protects ADP revenue and reputation and helps manage the operational aspects of our relationships with ~250 US Marketplace partners.

This critical role ensures that Marketplace correctly predicts and manages the revenue from the sale of our partners’ solutions on Marketplace. Senior Relationship Managers – Partner Governance work directly with partners to (i) educate them on our revenue management tools (ii) analyze and predict incoming revenue (iii) identify areas of revenue leakage through research and audits and (iv) identify areas of process improvement and implement changes. Senior Relationship Managers – Partner Governance are responsible for finalizing billing files that are shared with Finance, who invoice and collect payment.

This role also oversees partner lifecycle compliance by coordinating the partner reassessment process. The reassessment process is vital to ensuring partner compliance with ADP’s legal, regulatory and privacy standards and ADP Marketplace AI Principles for the ethical, secure, and compliant adoption of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI). Senior Relationship Managers – Partner Governance work to (i) coordinate the recurring partner assessment process with ADP business partner organizations (ii) initiate the review process with partner contacts, ensuring timely completion (iii) rely on ADP expertise to inform partner compliance issues (iv) track and hold the partner accountable for reconciliation of open issues and areas of non-compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Protection, Analysis & Issue Resolution

  • Analyze complex partner, lead, billing, and revenue-share data to ensure ADP receives all revenue owed through Marketplace partnerships.
  • Use Marketplace reporting, SQL queries, and other data sources to identify discrepancies, revenue leakage, overpayments, process breakdowns, and compliance risks.
  • Investigate issues across the partner lifecycle, determine root causes, and take ownership through resolution.
  • Develop actionable insights and recommendations that improve revenue predictability, operational efficiency, and partner performance.
  • Proactively identify risks to ADP’s revenue, reputation, and customer experience, escalating and resolving issues before they impact the business.

Partner Contract Compliance & Accountability

  • Manage partner obligations related to revenue share, implementation fees, administrative fees, application listings, usage-based billing, and other contractual requirements.
  • Monitor partner compliance with contractual, operational, financial, and program requirements.
  • Hold partners accountable for timely completion of required actions, submissions, payments, and compliance activities.
  • Assess operational and financial impacts of non-compliance and drive corrective actions to resolution.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Marketplace stakeholders to address complex compliance concerns and mitigate risk.

Partner Lifecycle Management

  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact throughout the partner lifecycle, from onboarding through ongoing program participation and business changes.
  • Manage changes in partner set-up due to mergers, acquisitions, ownership transfers, rebranding efforts, legal entity updates, and other organizational changes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure partner changes are completed accurately, compliantly, and within established timelines.
  • Maintain accurate partner records, including authorized contacts, banking information, tax documentation, legal agreements, invoicing details, and other required data.

Compliance, Audits & Risk Management

  • Lead partner reassessments, annual revenue-share audits, and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to ADP standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate partner compliance with legal, privacy, security, AI governance, OFAC, and other Marketplace program requirements.
  • Identify control gaps, recommend improvements, and drive corrective actions to strengthen operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain documentation and audit readiness while ensuring compliance processes are completed accurately and on time.

Partner Enablement & Operational Excellence

  • Educate partners on Marketplace policies, controls, best practices, and operational requirements.
  • Provide guidance on lead management, account status, revenue-share reporting, billing submissions, compliance obligations, and lifecycle activities.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert to develop tools, resources, and training materials that improve partner performance and self-service capabilities.
  • Foster productive partner relationships while balancing partner success with ADP’s operational, compliance, and financial requirements.

Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and monitor key partner performance metrics, including revenue management, lead management, compliance status, audit results, account health, and inquiry volume.
  • Analyze trends and performance indicators to identify opportunities for operational improvement and risk reduction.
  • Create reporting and insights that support decision-making by ADP leadership and partner stakeholders.
  • Champion process improvements that strengthen controls, improve efficiency, and protect ADP revenue.

Cross-Functional Operations Support

  • Partner closely with Finance, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Legal, GSO, and Operations teams to resolve inquiries, disputes, and reconciliation issues.
  • Research complex financial and operational questions, provide recommendations, and support timely issue resolution.
  • Ensure payments to and from ADP are accurate, compliant, timely, and fully reconciled. Help meet the goal of accurate, timely, predictable, easy to reconcile revenue share payments to and from ADP.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Proven executive presence with the ability to influence partner stakeholders through a data-driven approach, business acumen, and sound judgment.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify root causes.
  • Strong experience using SQL, reporting tools, and data analysis techniques to generate actionable insights and solve business problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues, drive accountability, and deliver resolution across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of contract compliance, operational controls, audits, and risk management practices.
  • Proven financial acumen, including revenue-share management, reconciliations, and revenue protection strategies.
  • Ability to identify process and control weaknesses and implement sustainable improvements.
  • Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to hold partners accountable while maintaining productive relationships.
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple priorities and complex initiatives.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to follow-through and execution.
  • Passion for protecting ADP’s revenue, strengthening partner compliance, and preserving ADP’s reputation through operational excellence.

EXPERIENCE YOU'LL NEED: Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years relevant professional experience.

A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:

  • Experience noted above, OR
  • Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or Communications.

Valuable Skills & Certifications:

  • Certifications: Continuous improvement, Certified Lean Practitioner, Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, or Project Manager (PMP) are highly valued but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL querying and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Client or partner facing experience in service or relationship management.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is USD $69,300.00 - USD $129,200.00 / Year*

*Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
