Job Summary
The Manager, Insider Risk is responsible for identifying, assessing, and investigating insider risks that may expose the ADP to operational, financial, or reputational harm. This role combines data-driven analysis, investigative review, risk assessment, and cross-functional partnership to evaluate workforce-related risks, support informed business decisions, and strengthen the enterprise Insider Risk program. The position leads complex reviews involving data misuse, unauthorized access, intellectual property concerns, fraud, conflicts of interest, policy violations, and other employee-related risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk-based reviews and investigations involving insider risk, fraud, data misuse, unauthorized access, and other violations
- Analyze alerts, behavioral indicators, referrals, and data from multiple sources to identify emerging risks and assess potential business impact.
- Perform fact-finding activities, document reviews, data analysis, and stakeholder interviews to establish findings and root causes.
- Prepare clear, defensible reports summarizing observations, risk assessments, findings, and recommended actions.
- Partner with key stakeholders and partners to manage cases and drive remediation.
- Identify trends and patterns across investigations to strengthen monitoring, controls, and prevention strategies.
- Support the development of insider risk monitoring use cases, metrics, reporting, and governance activities.
- Leverage analytics and technology to improve detection, triage, and investigative efficiency.
- Assist in developing internal financial fraud awareness and training programs.
- Contribute to enterprise fraud risk assessments and governance initiatives.
- Stay current on emerging insider risk trends, methodologies, and industry best practices

Required Qualifications
- 5-8+ years of experience in insider risk, fraud, corporate investigations, compliance, audit, employee misconduct reviews, risk management, or related disciplines.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience conducting fact-finding reviews and managing sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into business-focused recommendations.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
To Succeed in This Role
- You'll have a bachelor's degree in or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- CFE, CISA, CIA, CITPM, or similar certification.
- Experience with MS Purview, Crowdstrike, Snowflake or other EDR solutions.
- Experience with Insider Risk, DLP, UEBA, case management, or investigative platforms.
- Experience within financial services, payroll, fintech, or other highly regulated environments.
- Working knowledge of data protection, fraud prevention, and workforce risk management practices.
- Experience supporting litigation, regulatory inquiries, or law enforcement investigations.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is USD $107,400.00 - USD $264,300.00 / Year*
*Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
