ADP is hiring a Financial Analyst team Intern (Spring 2020 semester)

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Responsibilities

  • Internship within the Financial Planning & Analysis team at the ADP office in Norfolk, VA (~20 hours/week; PAID)
  • You will interact with professionals who will guide and support you as you enhance your skills while gaining relevant experience by development of complex financial analysis to challenge data and information integrity.
  • You may conduct special studies and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control or action including annual financial planning, forecasting and reporting.
  • Provide recommendations to ADP leadership around potential best practices, process-improvement initiatives, and training on ADP solutions

EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED: Required Qualifications

  • May 2020 Bachelor’s graduate
  • Completed 3 years of a 4-year degree program

BONUS POINTS FOR THESE: Preferred Qualifications

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints while maintaining a positive service attitude
  • Proactive, can-do attitude and a desire to learn
  • Ability to recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information
  • Aptitude towards organizing projects, multi-tasking
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written and reporting) skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Exhibits leadership skills and works well in a collaborative environment
  • Proficient with computer applications and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced office environment
  • Able to demonstrate attention to detail, superb organizational and follow-up skills
  • Project management, analysis and research skills
  • Ability to organize data, analyze data and produce reports
