What is the ADP Foundation?

[SPEECH]
BOB LOCKETT: Hi. Bob Lockett, Chief Diversity and Talent Officer at ADP.
[DESCRIPTION]
Bob sits in a lobby facing us.
[SPEECH]
BOB: The ADP Foundation was formed to be the philanthropic arm of our organization. Now, the beauty of what we do-- the ADP, the business, makes a donation each quarter to ADP, the foundation, to fund it. In addition to that, we also have associate dollars that supports our ADP Cares, better known as our Associate Hardship Fund.
[DESCRIPTION]
Photos show people working with youth in classrooms, people watching musical performances, and people volunteering in distribution centers.
[SPEECH]
BOB: What the foundation does, we invest in our communities, whether it's music, whether it's the arts, whether it's education and employability, and those who are in need. And we do this on a global basis.
And as you can imagine, we've had so many different crises in the world as of late. To include the war in Ukraine, in which we made significant donations there. To include the murder of George Floyd, which happened a few years ago, but we still are experiencing the remnants of this. So, the foundation is designed to give to our communities, where we give back, and associates also get involved and volunteer their time as well as their money to support their various causes.

ADP's Commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

[DESCRIPTION]
Text: Bob Lockett, Chief Diversity and Talent Officer at ADP.
[SPEECH]
BOB LOCKETT: Hi. Bob Lockett, Chief Diversity and Talent Officer at ADP.
[DESCRIPTION]
A collage of photos of smiling people at events, some posing with ADP banners and decorations, some holding rainbow flags, and one group holding a large American flag.
A second collage of photos of people in purple t-shirts working on building a house, playing with dogs, collecting trash, and handing out food.
[SPEECH]
BOB: Now CSR is Corporate Social Responsibility, as you can imagine. And one of the things that we think about is how we play a role when it comes to three categories-- E, S, and G, which is the environment, the social aspects of things-- which we typically talk about DEI and governance.
What we're trying to do is be carbon neutral by 2050. How can we reduce our footprint when it comes to Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions? Scope 3 emissions, just to give you a perspective, is really about associates and the supply chain. And Scope 1 is about buildings and facilities for us, for the most part.
[DESCRIPTION]
A collage of people in white t-shirts working on construction in a foreign country.
Photos of people in blue and purple t-shirts posing with a sun mascot and building structures.
[SPEECH]
BOB: So, if we can reduce our footprint by doing things that are smart, we can help us reduce that footprint and help the organization, help the country, and help the globe, in general, so it’ll reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and keep those greenhouse gas emissions low. Because as we all know, the planet is heating up. And we want to ensure that we do our part to ensure that we are environmentally conscious and put programs and practices in place to help sustain our efforts.

Eco-Friendly @ ADP

ADP is constantly working with our landlords for ways to conserve energy and water in our buildings. We engage our associates in programs that reduce waste and encourage recycling. We’re updating our workspaces, creating modern workplaces with access to natural light and open floor plans. As we renovate our offices, we recycle electronics and construction debris.

Most of our ADP locations are easily accessible by public transportation. In some countries, we have sustainable gardens and participate in community tree planting events.

The Golden Rule.

There is no question about ethical behavior at ADP. It’s non-negotiable. We expect each one of our associates to do the right thing, always.
