Job Title: Principal Application Developer
Location: Florham Park, NJ
ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Principal Application Developer at our Florham Park, NJ location. Responsibilities: Participate in relevant aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, constructions, testing, reviews, and demonstrations. Develop services and client interfaces using modern programming languages to develop, test, and implement information technology solutions. Develop automated unit and integration tests to enable a continuous integration (CI) pipeline. Develop and extend the CI and continuous deployment (CD) pipeline. Design and set up API infrastructure by working with development and operations team and engineers. Design and maintain automated monitoring, alerting and reporting systems. Design and develop highly available, performant, and cacheable APIs; and develop performant User Interfaces (UIs) using modern technologies. Review and create system, software, and functional design specifications.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field plus seven (7) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master’s degree plus three (3) years of experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree plus seven years of experience. Employer will accept a three (3) year bachelor’s degree or a combination of degrees or diplomas as meeting the bachelor’s degree requirement.
