Job Title: Vice President of Strategy
Location: Roseland, NJ
ADP, LLC seeks a Vice President of Strategy at our Roseland, NJ location. Responsibilities: Partner with ADP functions and business units to build strategies and develop and execute business strategy recommendations. Develop strategic frameworks to enable leaders to assess strategic questions, identify key priorities, and make business decisions. Lead qualitative and quantitative analysis, including identifying market trends, assessing competitor strengths/weaknesses, and building business cases for investment in key strategic initiatives. Track market and competitive trends by focusing on weak signals of disruptive threats and changing client and employee preferences. Develop strategies to drive continued business growth and operational improvements. Set strategic direction and help lead corporate strategic planning processes. Analyze complex business problems and design recommendations. Provide insights for analysis, translate outputs into recommendations, and provide conclusions. Drive targeted execution for organization-wide client experience transformation. Assess ADP portfolio and identify opportunities for inorganic growth.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field plus eight (8) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master’s degree plus six (6) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree plus eight years of experience. Up to 20% travel required to various locations per business need.
Four (4) years of experience must include: Analyzing customer and financial performance data sets. Using Pivot Tables, Vlookup, if-then formulas, and regression analyses to manipulate data sets. Analyzing financial statements, including Profit & Loss statements. Modifying financial models based on analysis, including creating cash flow models and calculating cash flow streams Net Present Value. Applying macroeconomics principles and theories to economic forecasts and reports on industry growth and incorporating economic forecasts and metrics into financial forecast models. Leveraging marketing theories and frameworks, including 4Ps and 5Cs, to analyze markets, including market size, customer preferences/needs, available channels, and pricing information. Utilizing corporate strategy theories and frameworks, including Porter’s Five Forces and SWOT analysis, to design business recommendations. Leveraging financial statements and historical transaction benchmarks to provide acquisition valuation ranges.
