The Lifion by ADP program is looking for dynamic, motivated, and experienced individuals to advise clients on the design and implementation of leading business processes and practices in HCM using the ADP Next Gen HCM cloud technology and ADP products and services, while working closely with the product group in delivering solutions to clients.

Responsibilities:

Lifion Time Implementation Consultants ensure successful deployments by architecting, configuring, and testing the Lifion HCM/Payroll solution to meet the specific needs of our clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide expertise and guidance to clients on Time and Labor management "leading practices", the functionality of the Lifion application and associated processes throughout all phases of an implementation.
  • Lead on-site and remote design/discovery workshops/deep-dives to familiarize clients with Lifion cloud processes; develop an understanding of client current-state processes, gather configuration requirements and share Lifion best practice recommendations
  • Configure and test the Lifion application in collaboration with supporting implementation specialists for other HCM domains
  • Advise and influence client stakeholders in acceptance and adoption of Lifion cloud application processes and ADP solutions and services.
  • Identify and recommend product enhancements to Lifion’s Product organization required to meet specific client requirements; and continuously inform the product roadmap
  • Assist the integration consulting team in helping to configure and test integrations between Lifion and third party/custom solutions
  • Work with the client and internal data migration resources (onshore & offshore) to help inform and support the data conversion process from legacy HR systems
  • Help mentor new consultants and offshore counterparts
  • Partner with the Customer Success organization to help drive effective change management, training and adoption of Lifion application processes
  • Ensure the client is referenceable once the client is in production
  • Share product knowledge with other consultants and contribute to the continuous improvement of Lifion’s implementation methodology

Qualifications Required:

  • 2 to 5+ years implementing a Time and Labor Management System. Enterprise ETime is preferred.
  • Expertise in how Time tracking system impacts other systems within the Lifion organization (i.e. MyADP, General Ledger and Payroll).
  • Highly organized individual who can handle several work streams at once.
  • Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company required
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamically changing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required
  • Demonstrated client facing experience by partnering with customers to drive successful outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a larger team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
  • Experience deploying multiple HCM projects simultaneously a plus
  • Preference will be given to candidates who speak, read, and write fluently in both French and English

And then there's times when things come up, when emergencies happen, which happens with everyone, I'm able to work from home. So it's absolutely fantastic how flexible ADP has been with me and also with others.

When I graduated college, I was looking for companies that had a great sales training program. And I knew ADP was one of them. So I came across a sales apprentice job, and I was able to work alongside of top producers in my region. And I learned the ins and outs of the job through them.

My goal was to look for a career path, looking for some place where I was able to grow in the company. Money was actually tertiary. It wasn't something primary to me. I was just looking for an opportunity to grow, looking for opportunity to have a career path.
[SPEECH: KELSEY]
I was fresh out of college. And I was actually introduced from a friend that was already working at ADP, which I've grown to realize that's how a lot of our associates get on board with ADP is because we get referred by internal partners and internal people that have been here and been very happy with the company.
[SPEECH: MICHAEL]
The reputation ADP has, knowing the company itself, and what I've heard from people that I know worked here-- just between giving you that freedom to have that work life balance that I always wanted, but never could have in the industry that I was in.

I was working for a company that would give me benefits that I would be obviously looking for to keep me at the company for a while. So when I ran across ADP, I had a couple friends that worked for ADP. And they let me know how great a company it was. So I figured, you know, what's the harm in applying?

The competitive aspect about how the flexibility, and schedules, and really just the positive work environment, and camaraderie that everyone has—and that really sparked my interest in working in the company.

My name is Martha Bird. I'm a cultural anthropologist. And I worked for ADP.

I look for patterns. I study beliefs, routines, aspirations, and behaviors to inform the digital tools we're building at ADP.

I often look at new technologies in reference to what is the human need behind that.

You have the assembly line. You can imagine in the '50s, people had to work at a stationary terminal. And then you get into the PC in the '80s. And now you have the mobile phone. And people can kind of work anywhere.
ADP as a company is really aware of the importance of having a human perspective on technology. And that's one of the reasons I'm here, is to try to surface what it is that people actually need in the tools that they use.

I spend a lot of time deeply hanging out with people. I do a lot of asking questions that seem straightforward to people who are insiders.

I'm able to bring together human insights and observations that, when applied, can impact one in six workers in the US.

When employees work on teams where they feel that they are respected, they have a tendency to produce more. So I think companies understand that in order to create greater productivity, you have to really work on some of these levers of engagement.
At ADP, I feel really supported on a number of levels. I think the company has used all of the factors that conspire to actually make a more productive workforce. I have a great team that respects my opinion. It's about being authentic. It's about being open to diversity and different perspectives. I get to wake up every day and do exactly what I love doing, just really spending time with people, understanding people. It's about tending to other people and tending to yourself.

My favorite thing about working here is just the opportunity. And so in my current role-- it's a fairly new role and I get to shape what it is. I get this brand new opportunity to create the finance strategy of the company. And so having that blank sheet of paper and filling it in with what the finance strategy might look like, that's phenomenally exciting.

Text: Why do you stay @ ADP?

The reason I stay at ADP and the reason I see a future in ADP is just the career progression. And so one of the things I've found in ADP is you've got people with significant tenure, 20, 25 years of tenure. But within that 25 years, they’ve done 6, 8, 10 different jobs. And so career mobility is big at ADP. And in other companies, as people have moved sideways, it's viewed as a bad thing that you've moved sideways. Here, it's encouraged to get exposure, too. So for myself, I was in the field. And now I'm being exposed to corporate. And then obviously, global is another thing for me to get exposure to. So that's really why I stayed.

Text: What would you tell someone looking to apply to ADP?
[SPEECH]
So to somebody looking outside into ADP, what they really need to know is it's not a payroll company. And I definitely had that perception when I came in. And it's only really once you get inside it that you realize there's so many different facets to ADP. And it wasn't until I really dug into the role and the company that I realized that it was more than payroll. It was a pretty sophisticated technology company that was global in reach.
