ADP is hiring a Senior Director, Internal Communications. Reporting to the VP, Transformation Communications, this role will create a communication strategy to drive innovative communications that raise awareness and excitement about the results led by our Corporate Vice-President, Global Product & Technology and his Senior Leadership Team.

This experienced leader will be technically-savvy and extremely comfortable using digital assets and other forms of new media to convey our messages to ~9,000 associates across five continents, the entire ADP organization broadly, and externally to raise our profile and brand, as well as support our recruiting and talent efforts. This person will work directly with senior leaders across all functions to plan, design and execute a comprehensive and customized communication plan for Global Product & Technology (GPT) resulting in increased awareness and enhanced associate engagement.

  • Works closely with key stakeholders and leaders to drive desired communication outcomes, including executive presentations and events.
  • Champions and articulates enterprise strategy to serve as foundation for associate and leadership messages.
  • Assesses organizational readiness to align leaders, engage stakeholders, and identify barriers to effectively drive communication outcomes throughout the organization.
  • Creates and manages measurement systems to track adoption, utilization, and proficiency of communication vehicles.
  • Creates compelling and creative communications that appeal to a multi-generational workforce and follow brand standards.
  • Leverages all communication channels to drive awareness, promote education and encourage usage both externally and internally.
  • Partners with Associate Communications Network, Transformation Office, and Change Management leaders as needed for all initiatives.


  • 10+ years of experience in internal/external communications.
  • Demonstrated track record of designing and leading communication efforts in a highly matrixed organizations, including tool development and deployment.
  • Deep expertise in communication design with proven ability to create compelling messages to large multi-disciplined organizations.
  • Ability to translate concepts into reality and to develop cross-functional and enterprise partnerships evidenced by a track record of teamwork and collegiality in leading teams and building relationships.
  • Proven project leadership and management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and business-savvy individual who can comprehend and articulate the business objective and value of projects quickly and easily.
  • Exceptional strategic planning and consultative skills with a collaborative work style with ability to solicit input, influence and support decision making.
