The Role

WorkMarket is seeking a seasoned product marketer to level-up our go to market efforts. As the Senior Manager of Product Marketing, you will own the go-to-market activities for all major product releases and services offerings for WorkMarket. You will partner with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Client Experience to understand the needs of our customers, shape messaging, define offers, and guide the creation of all relevant sales and marketing assets. You will also have input into our corporate strategy and take the lead in our market research and competitive intelligence team.

This position reports into WorkMarket’s VP of Marketing and has direct access to our senior management efforts.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager of Product Marketing role has tremendous breadth covering all GTM and customer research activities including:

  • Messaging: Create and maintain our product message, and help articulate our distinction in the market

  • Packaging: Offer creation for new products and services using WorkMarket and associated ADP technologies including message development, pricing, segmentation, and competitive positioning

  • Sales Enablement: Create assets to support sales team for new product launches including videos, demo scripts, messaging workshops, and competitive win sheets

  • Market Sensing: Drive market research initiatives leveraging customer advisory boards, quant/qual studies, and on-site interviews with new and prospective clients as well as

  • maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and advise senior management on developing threats and mitigation strategies

  • Represent WorkMarket within the larger ADP product marketing discipline

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum of 6 – 8 years of work experience

  • Prior roles bringing Software as a Service (SaaS) products or subscription-based businesses to market in competitive industries

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA degree preferred

  • Knowledge and experience in Human Capital Management (HCM) preferred

  • Experience working with complex, matrixed businesses

  • Strong leadership skills to influence across organizational lines and executive presence as well as outstanding interpersonal, verbal, written communication, presentation and process facilitation skills with the ability to present his/her views in a compelling manner.

  • Highly collaborative team player with the knowledge, intellect and temperament to work effectively in a fast-paced, energetic and complex environment.

  • A high degree of personal initiative, results orientation and integrity are essential

  • Comfortable with ambiguity
