Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Integration Engineer to design, build, and support integrations across Workforce Management, HCM, and Payroll systems. This role works closely with Integration Architects and Data Integration Specialists and is expected to independently manage integration design and build in their absence. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in APIs and middleware platforms (Boomi) and can build, troubleshoot, and optimize complex integrations. Key Responsibilities: Support Integration Architect / Data Integration Specialist in requirement gathering and integration design Independently gather integration requirements and build solutions when required Develop and configure integrations using APIs, web services, and middleware platforms (Boomi) Build complex, scalable interfaces across HCM, Time & Attendance, and Payroll systems Perform reverse engineering by analyzing existing interface code to identify issues and optimize solutions Troubleshoot and resolve integration defects, data issues, and transformation errors Create reusable templates and frameworks to standardize integration development Ensure data validation, reconciliation, and error handling mechanisms are implemented Participate in testing cycles including SIT, UAT, and parallel runs Support deployment, cutover, and post go-live stabilization Continuously drive automation in integration build and monitoring processes Required Skills: Strong experience in integration development for HCM / Workforce Management systems Deep expertise in APIs (REST/SOAP), web services, and middleware platforms (Boomi preferred) Strong understanding of data flows, transformations, and integration patterns Experience with data formats such as JSON, XML, flat files Ability to design and build reusable integration assets Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Technical Skills: Boomi integration platform or equivalent middleware API development and consumption (REST / SOAP) SQL for data validation and debugging Understanding of authentication methods (OAuth, SFTP, etc.) Logging, monitoring, and error handling frameworks Domain Experience: Experience integrating systems like WorkForce Software, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle, Dayforce, or similar Strong understanding of data flow between HCM, Time & Attendance, and Payroll systems Key Competencies: Strong ownership mindset and accountability Ability to work independently and handle end-to-end integration tasks Automation-first thinking and reusable design mindset Effective collaboration with functional and technical teams Flexibility to work in global delivery environment What Makes This Role Unique: Opportunity to build complex enterprise integrations in global WFM programs Exposure to end-to-end integration lifecycle and architecture Focus on automation, reusable frameworks, and scalable integration design Strong career growth into Integration Lead / Architect roles ##LI-DNIWe are looking for a highly skilled Integration Engineer to design, build, and support integrations across Workforce Management, HCM, and Payroll systems.
