POSITION SUMMARY


The Implementation Consultant (IC) is accountable for all aspects of assigned Pay, and/or HR or TIME, and account setup, including analysis, configuration, validation, issue resolution, process training, initial live run(s) support, and turnover to Client Services. The IC implements Major and or National accounts with no limit to complexity while ensuring the client experiences a high degree of satisfaction. The IC brings industry knowledge to the project team and will consult on best practise and advise the client on work flow improvements and efficiencies. The roles demands a solid foundation in project management given the size and complexity of the accounts assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·Thorough understanding of Implementation Account guidelines.
.Consultant with client on industry best practises and workflow set up
·Complete understanding and Implementation Account payroll processing workflow from input to delivery of the payroll.
·Review SIT (Sales Implementation Transition Rpt) with DM upon receipt of sales order and contact client within 48 hours.
·Develop a comprehensive Implementation Project Plan.
·Complete the data conversion mapping with the client and review results with intact teams and DC team.
·Assist the client with the verification of data and helps identify any problems and provides client with workable solutions.
·May complete single user software installations.
.Review hardware requirements with the client.
·Assist the client with the setup of Tables and Company Information for all company codes.
·Coordinates client training and assists client with any questions on product use.
·Balances multiple commitments from clients in a fast paced environment.
·Supports client remote or onsite for analysis/install, input training, 1st pay input, output training/troubleshooting.
·May provide on-site training for those clients that are unable to attend in-house training.
·Provide regular reports to the client and to ADP Canada on the status of the Implementation project.
·Facilitate and Participate in meetings at various management and functional levels with assigned clients.
·Successfully navigate the ADP Mainframe Systems.
·Conduct thorough testing of client set-up prior to live run.
·Follow through on all aspects of the implementation to ensure that a file is turned over cleanly to client services.
·Commitment to work in a team environment demonstrating a positive approach and co-operation, and providing effective feedback and communication to backup each other in the interest of the client.
·Maintain a current knowledge of ADP payroll products and current payroll regulations.
·May be called on to assist the Implementation Department with special projects (i.e. Mentor a new associate, Provide training in areas of expertise to other associates, etc.).
·Other duties as assigned.

Experience, Skills, Academic:

COMPETENCIES

Education:
a.Post-secondary education or related business experience.
b.Professional designation, such as CHRP, is preferred.
c.PMP is an asset

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:

Required:
·CPA ( level 1, 2 and 3) completed or in progress
·3 to 5 years' experience in Payroll capacity
·Industry knowledge in Pay, and/or Time or HR
·Understanding of programming, mapping & conversion of data and importing data.
·Functional knowledge of reporting and editing tools
·General knowledge of operating systems and networking infrastructures including general internet concepts
·Project Management knowledge
·Familiarity with accounting principles
·Strong Excel skills
·Prior implementation experience
·Knowledge of ADP workflow required, prior automated payroll experience a must, service bureau experience required.
·Flexibility in all interactions and comfort levels with face to face client meetings and executive levels.
·Willingness to travel by personal car to client site (occasionally by air)
·Bilingual an asset ( French /English)
